BeeThere is operated by Huginn & Muninn. This policy covers the BeeThere Chrome extension, its event API, and this privacy page. BeeThere displays public event listings for Novi Sad, Serbia.
Information handled by the extension
You do not need an account to use BeeThere. The extension does not ask for your name, email address, password, payment details, or GPS location. It does not read your browsing history, the contents of your tabs, or your personal communications.
When you open the popup or select retry, the extension requests public events from the BeeThere API. Requests include a date filter so the API can return upcoming events. The event data is downloaded to your browser for display.
Theme preference stored on your device
If you select light or dark mode, BeeThere saves your theme preference in the extension's local browser storage. This preference is not sent to our API. Selecting System removes the saved override. You can also remove the stored preference by uninstalling the extension.
IP addresses and technical request data
Our infrastructure processes IP addresses to deliver API responses and this page, and to limit repeated requests for security and reliability. BeeThere does not use IP addresses to infer your city or track your movements.
The API produces operational request logs. These can include request paths and query parameters, response status codes, and network client addresses. A client address in an API log may be an internal proxy address rather than a visitor's public IP address. Infrastructure providers may also process technical network and security metadata.
We use this technical information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. The extension has no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs and does not record your clicks, scrolling, or keystrokes for analytics.
Hosting and sharing
The API and this page run on DigitalOcean infrastructure. Hosting and network providers process information needed to deliver and protect the service. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising, or use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to BeeThere's service. We do not use or transfer user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Storage and retention
Your theme preference stays on your device until you reset it or remove the extension. Public event records are stored on our server; they are not a personal activity profile.
Operational log retention is controlled by the infrastructure's logging and rotation settings. BeeThere does not set a separate fixed retention period for these logs. We do not promise immediate deletion or a specific number of retention days.
External event websites
Event source links open third-party websites. Visiting those sites is subject to their privacy policies. Their cookies and data practices are not controlled by BeeThere.
Your choices and contact
You can stop requests from the extension by closing the popup and not opening it again, or by disabling or uninstalling BeeThere. A request that has already started may finish.
